Foreign capital makes up almost 59%. France is the largest investor country, and housing and offices are the top destination for foreign money.
Bali's provincial investment office (DPMPTSP) recorded Rp30.80 trillion of realised investment through Q3 2026, 64% of this year's Rp47.93 trillion target. About 58.8% came from foreign direct investment (PMA) and 41.2% from domestic investors (PMDN).
Badung takes more than half
Badung Regency, which covers South Kuta and North Kuta, recorded Rp18.22 trillion, the most in Bali for both foreign (Rp11.13 trillion) and domestic (Rp7.09 trillion) investment. Denpasar followed with Rp4.69 trillion and Gianyar with Rp4.25 trillion. The Sarbagita area (Denpasar, Badung, Gianyar, Tabanan) took about 92% of the total.
